My latest update in the stop smoking using vaping journey, and everything is going well.
Day 8
The day started off easier than it had on other days with the morning routine now being coffee and vape instead of coffee and cigarette. I still go outside to do this and catch up on all my emails and social media whilst enjoying the morning air.
My lungs are definitely starting to eject all the accumulated tar and rubbish from the last 38 years of smoking and I am feeling quite good. I am coughing a fair bit in the mornings, a clearing cough judging by the phlegm that comes up, but not as much as I was expecting as yet.
Last night I had a couple of thoughts about having a cigarette, funny how the habit keeps coming into your thoughts without reason, but I am firmly reminding myself that I don't smoke and therefore do not need one. Seems to be working so far 😊.
Day 9
Today started off really well even when under a bit of stress as we have a house inspection today. I have not even thought about a cigarette so far today and definitely do not have a craving for one.
Interestingly, I washed out the "butt bucket" ashtray that was in my car this morning and all I could think was that I really should apologise to anyone that was around me while I was smoking. You truly do not realise just how disgusting the smell is until you are not smoking any more. So sorry to all those who suffered because of my habit.
Why All The Vape Machines
As I showed the other day I currently have 3 vape units that I use. All are Innokin Endura vapes and each has it's own reason for being in my collection. All three are classed as mouth to lung (MTL) style vapes which means they mimic a cigarette in the way you use them.
The biggest one, the silver T22, has a large battery and tank which makes it ideal for an all day vape (ADV) system. You can basically charge it overnight, fill it in the morning and know that it will just keep going all day. Great if there is a specific flavour you like and want to use it for a longer time without having to top up the tank very often.
The smaller silver one is a the T20, which has a smaller battery and tank and also has a different type of coil arrangement. This is great for going out on shorter trips as it easily fits in your pocket and is there when you need it. I am currently using this vape as the tester for the e-juices I have mixed myself as it is simple to clean and refill.
The black one, the slender but longer T18, also has a smaller battery and tank but uses the same coils as the large vape. These coils are also cheaper than the ones for the T20 so I can save costs when ordering. I am currently using this as my "alternative" flavour vape so I can refresh my palette when needed. If you just keep vaping the same thing all day every day, it can get a little boring so this helps to mix things up a bit.
I will possibly start using the black one as my e-juice tester soon as the coils are cheaper so it will be more efficient in that respect. I will then have the alternative flavour in the T22 and use it when out and about.
Which Vape Do I Recommend?
Well, all of them are great in their own right, but if I had to recommend just one of them it would be the biggest one, the T22. It is hassle free, lasts all day and holds a decent amount of e-juice so you don't have to keep topping it up. The coils are cheap and the unit itself is reasonably priced at way under a pouch of tobacco.
The Innokin Endura T22 can be found at
Vape King for $49.95, you can also get coils for it there at only $1.75 each. They also carry the other vapes I have too. I do not get any cash for referring you but I do get points which will help support my vaping journey if you by through my link. 😁
Conclusion
So, do you need to have 3 vape units to do this? Well, no you don't. I only got these as I am mixing up my own e-juice so it made sense for that. You could easily start out with one and go only get more if you decide you need them.
